About Our Heavy Equipment and Mobile Crane Training Programs
Heavy Equipment Operator I
Our Heavy Equipment Operator I course provides entry-level training for skid steers, wheel loaders, compactors, backhoes, and articulated off-road dump trucks. Students will receive an introduction to earthmoving, soils, heavy equipment safety, and basic operational techniques and will be accredited with the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) upon completion.
Heavy Equipment Operator II
Completion of Heavy Equipment Operator I is required. Our Heavy Equipment Operator II course exposes students to bulldozers, scrapers, excavators, and motor graders as well as grades, site work, excavation math, interpretation of civil drawings, and finishing and grading. Students will be accredited with the NCCER upon completion.
Mobile Crane Operations
Our Mobile Crane Operations course includes both the mobile hydraulic telescopic boom swing-cab and telescopic boom fixed-cab cranes. Students will learn basic crane principles, safety, operations, preventive maintenance, wire rope, and basic rigging practices. Students will operate a mobile hydraulic telescopic boom swing-cab and telescopic boom fixed-cab crane. Students will be certified through the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) upon completion.
